Carmody (11-12
August 2003 in the Amboró -National
Park (Bolivia) dcarmody11@hotmail.com Two
days, go and come back to
AMBORO
park. My father, my brother and
I enjoyed this. We took time to
look for dried wood in order to
use to cook our food. The
aromatic ashes and smoke give a
country smell to us, while we
cooked and ate. Sleeped
accompanied by animal forest
sounds. I am a person lucky:
During our trip we fished
sardines, we looked monkeys in
the way, we found trees of bibosi
species with thick and high
trunks. We enjoyed hanging from
tree branchs and walking on the
river and into the jungle. In
the jungle we used big knifes to
open paths.

October 2003 in Amboró
National Park and Samaipata- Bolivia) E-mail: lcastoldi@hotmail.com The
trip was long. 140 Km from
Santqa Cruz de la Sierra city,
all time sit down in the
car. The beauty of Samaipata
fortress, is accompanied
by an old history
before of Christopher Colombus
period, before the INCA impire.
The big fern forest astonishes
by the greenery in the mountains.
That is the Yungas eco-system,
where small birds singed . |

September 2003 in PORONGO and
Piraí River- Bolivia) E-mail: cw@iae.nl We
was going to 7 water fall
in Espejillos, but the Piraí
River had a lot of water, that
was an obstacle to cross. So, we
changed to PORONGO. We
took breakfast in PORONGO
market. After we walked to a
fish lake, where only people pay
when they had success fishing.
We did not fish nothing. The
home close the lake had a basin
where a viper was. We treked
back to PORONGO. We took a cold
beer. The beautiful trek in the
nature and together the native
inhabitants made an
unforgettable trip in Santa Cruz
de la Sierra.

Colleen
Hammonds(
1 September 2003 in AMBORO
National Park. River Saguayo- Bolivia)
E-mail: chamnz@yahoo.com It
was a good physic exercise. We
cross a native community where
we bought oranges and rented
horses. The horses gave us
to do. So, we treked back
enjoying the tropical nature.
In the AMBORO
jungle, the
suffocating tropical vegetation
was refreshed by walking
in the Saguayo and Blanco
rivers. Parabas and all
class of birds singed in the
morning and during the sunset.
At 12:00 it was hot, and
all was in calm.
